Fidelity National Home Warranty - Having a home warranty with this company is a nightmare

We have been with this company for years. The service just gets worse and worse. The kitchen hose is leaking recently. Fidelity sent a technician in the late night and the technician did nothing and left. He complained that our water pressure was high and we needed to install a water pressure meter at our own costs. We insisted that the hose was worn out, but they don't want to hear it at all. They charged us for the service call without providing any service. I'm not sure how many American families have their own water pressure meters. I checked with people at work and nobody has it. Does their service sound professional? It's a scam to us.

Fidelity National Home Warranty - Incompetent Service Provider

Details
Fidelity National Home Warranty is a group of incompetent individuals. They could not locate a company to replace the thermostat on my swamp cooler. I was kindly informed that I had to find a company on my own to perform the repairs. The second local HVAC company I called came out ordered the thermostat and had it replaced in a week. Now trying to get my reimbursement is a joke. I've provided everything they require. You can't get a real person from the authorization department on the phone. They just keep sending emails stating they need more information. You'd think that since they couldn't handle what they claim to be professional at, a simpler process to get you your money. This has gone on 18 months and a whole lot of my personal time. Stay away.

like others have said, stay far away from this company. they'll use any excuse possible to deny your claim. bottom of the barrel vendors (mostly), terrible customer service. Save yourself the yearly premium and the $75 service fee by just looking in the mirror and saying "no, it's not covered". you'll get the same result without paying for it.

The FNHW faq page states that their home warranty policy is effective for one year upon receipt of payment. You may renew your home warranty by logging in to your account and renew online or by calling their Inbound Sales Department at 1-800-862-6837.

Please note that their service work is guaranteed (without an additional service fee) for 30 days on labor and 90 days on parts.

The 30-day guarantee only applies to malfunctions, which are reported to FNHW during the term of your valid contract. If you need any assistance, you may try to contact FNHW Customer Support directly via the Contacts tab on Pissed Consumer.
